Boyce Lee Radford

Boyce Lee Radford, Sr., age 84 of Forest City died Friday, February 13, 2026.  He was born on August 28, 1941, in Rutherford County and was a son of the late B.J. and Ruby Mace Radford.  Boyce worked for many years for Cone Mills Corporation at the Avondale Plant. For the past several years he was a resident at Fairhaven Home of Forest City where he enjoyed the many activities and friends he had there. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Sisk Radford,  son, Boyce L. Radford, Jr., and a grandson, Glen Bradley.

Survivors include his son, Keith Radford and wife Debbie of Mooresville, North Carolina, his daughter, Deborah Radford of Forest City, his brother, Albert Radford and wife Suzanne of Fort Mill, SC, and his sister, Carolyn Bryl of Forest City.  There are also 6 grandchildren, and a number of great-grandchildren, as well as a number of nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held at 2 o’clock on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, in The Padgett and King Chapel.  Interment will follow at Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 o’clock prior to the service at the mortuary.
