Joseph Gordon "Joe" Tedore, age 78 of Forest City, North Carolina died Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at his residence. Joe was born January 19, 1939 in Washington, DC and was a son of the late Thomas and Rebecca Freeman Tedore. He served his country in the United States Army where he retired at the rank of Sergeant First Class with 23 years' service. He was a lifelong fan of Elvis Presley and the Washington Redskins.
Survivors include Linda and "Pet" Smokey, two brothers, Bobby Tedore and Johnny Tedore, and two sisters, Joyce Evans and Linda McCollum and a number of nieces and nephews and lifelong friend, Reggie Ferland.
At the request of Mr. Tedore there will be no formal service. The Padgett and King Mortuary & Crematory is in charge of arrangements and an online guest registry is available at www.padgettking. com
